Introducing President Kathrine Fraser
Dear Colleagues
I am honoured to have been elected, along with Helen Rutledge, Carol Gunn, Jill McDonald, Doug Scott and Lois Baillie, to form the Executive of CANZ. We quickly bonded as a team, recognising the strength that comes from our diversity of backgrounds, skills and geography. Each one of us has direct liaison with a Branch around the country and we regularly communicate with the Branch Chairs so that they can keep their members up-to-date with developments at both national and local levels. Don't hesitate to contact anyone on the Exec or your local Branch committee with ideas or offers of ways you might like to contribute to making CANZ the most vibrant and relevant organisation for celebrants that it can be.

Introducing Editor Panui, Larry Timberlake
On 22 February, your Executive appointed Larry Timberlake to succeed Keith King as the Editor of Panui. Larry has worked as a professional copy writer, editor and proofreader since retiring from the Educational Media Centre at The University of Auckland in 2004. His background includes various roles in radio and television and many years as a church organist/choirmaster. He earned a Certificate in Celebrant Studies in 2010 and attained registration as a marriage/civil union celebrant in 2011. He has since conducted weddings, funerals and civil unions throughout the Auckland area.
