Celebrant since 2008

I have a passion for ceremony and ritual; for recognising those special moments in life that deserve to be celebrated; happy and sad, beginnings and endings, and everything in between. My celebrancy is heart centred, for those who are wanting someone who can genuinely support individuals and families when the need arises, whatever the occasion, in a relaxed and caring manner. Regardless of the type of ceremony and its level of complexity, you can be assured of respect, empathy, flexibility, deep listening, compassion, honesty, and creativity, along with a healthy dose of humour.
My formal training as a celebrant was completed in 2003, extended training in Loss and Grief in 2004, and in 2014 I studied further within the Celtic tradition in the UK. Ongoing Professional Development is important to me to keep me abreast of current trends and exciting new resources.
Why not incorporate a Labyrinth walk into your ceremony to add an extra dimension? As a trained Labyrinth Facilitator with Veriditas, I also offer individually designed workshops and presentations to community groups, schools, and elder care facilities.
While based in the Wellington Region, it is always a pleasure and privilege to be invited to conduct ceremonies and facilitate workshops in other parts of the country but there will be an extra cost to cover travel and any accommodation.
Contact me so I can be there for you and your family for any of the following:
            Mother Blessings
            Baby naming
            Mothers and Daughter ceremonies
            Transitions in Life
Gratitude Ceremony
House Blessings
Weddings and Civil Unions
Handfastings
Renewal of Vows
Croning
Funerals and Memorials
Labyrinth Facilitation, Presentations and Workshops
When I’m not working in the role of a celebrant, I’m a wife, parent, grandparent, writer, family historian, lover of the outdoors, reader, and quilt maker. My quilts are hand quilted with love,  to become beautiful heirlooms. I put the same care and attention to detail into the  ceremonies I create so you will have a unique and meaningful ceremony that will become a  treasured and lasting memory.
