I believe that ceremonies, ritual and symbols provide sources of affirmation, commitment and enduring memories. They serve to help people gain a deeper sense of their connectedness with each other and our world, and of our wholeness as people. Tikanga and kawa are very significant in ceremonies, ritual and symbols.
I will help you prepare a ceremony that is individual to you and your occasion, that is memorable and honouring, and that reflects your culture(s), beliefs, values, and traditions.
I like to meet with you in person to plan the ceremony, and for a wedding or civil union, to meet more than once. For a wedding or civil union, I also prefer to attend the rehearsal if there is one.
I have materials for you to browse and choose from for readings, poetry, songs and other content.
I am from Whanganui but live in Waikato now, and am willing to travel to other areas.
